Average effective rate for a typical 300-unit household including duties, surcharges and GST. Slab rates differ by usage; protected consumers pay less.
Your units used are charged in slabs — the first 100 units are cheapest, and each higher slab costs more per unit. On top of that come the fuel charge adjustment, quarterly adjustments, taxes and fixed fees. Crossing 200 or 300 units in a month moves your later units into pricier slabs.
It depends on your city: LESCO (Lahore), MEPCO (Multan), IESCO (Islamabad), GEPCO (Gujranwala), FESCO (Faisalabad), K-Electric (Karachi) and others. Your bill shows the company name at the top.
