An electrician has been sacked after the AC malfunctioned during a function in Peshawar and the provincial chief executive faced extreme heat. The incident took place during a large political workers' convention where provincial ministers and party workers were also present.
When the Chief Minister came on stage to address, the cooling system of the hall was completely shut down, causing the temperature of the hall to rise rapidly. The administration staff immediately tried to rectify the problem but in the meantime the chief guest faced a lot of trouble. Termination orders were issued against the responsible electrician immediately after the ceremony was over.
