Four people were killed and seven injured as a result of separate hand grenade attacks that occurred in Chaman district of Balochistan and Lakki Marwat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to the local police and administration, these violent incidents took place in sensitive areas of both provinces, where rescue teams and security forces immediately reached the scene and started relief operations.
Explosion in Bahram Khel area of Lucky Marwat
The most serious incident took place in Bahram Khel area of Lucky Marwat where a hand grenade exploded inside a residential house. According to the initial police report, the intensity of the explosion was so high that the people inside the house were seriously damaged. As soon as the incident was reported, Rescue 1122 and police teams reached the spot and the injured were shifted to a nearby hospital. Doctors have declared an emergency in the hospital and started providing medical aid to the injured.
