The Honor Robot Phone is Pakistan’s first AI-powered smartphone, launched on 12 March 2025 for Rs. 129,999 (approximately US$ 465). Designed for tech enthusiasts and professionals, it packs a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, a 6.78-inch 120Hz display, and a 5500mAh battery with 100W fast charging. After using it for a week, here’s what you need to know before buying.

Design & Build

The Robot Phone feels premium in hand, thanks to its glass back and aluminum frame. At 192 grams and 8.9mm thick, it’s heavier than most flagships but comfortable to hold. The camera island is bold and futuristic, while the IP68 rating means it survives splashes and dust. Honor offers it in three colors: Midnight Black, Ocean Blue, and Aurora Silver.

Display

The 6.78-inch AMOLED display is the star. It runs at 120Hz for smooth scrolling and gaming, with a peak brightness of 4500 nits—visible even in direct sunlight. The resolution is 1.5K (2412 x 1080), and HDR10+ support makes colors pop. In real-world use, videos and games look crisp, with no motion blur.

Performance

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (4nm), the Robot Phone handles everything effortlessly. In our tests, it scored 1,250,000 on AnTuTu and 7,200 on Geekbench 6. Gaming at high settings (like Genshin Impact on Ultra) ran at 60fps without overheating. Multitasking is smooth, even with 10+ apps open.

Camera

The triple camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor (f/1.65), a 50MP ultra-wide (f/2.2), and a 50MP telephoto (3.5x optical zoom, 100x digital zoom). In daylight, photos are sharp with accurate colors. Night mode works well, but low-light shots can look over-processed. Video recording tops out at 4K/60fps with gyro-EIS stabilization.

Battery

The 5500mAh battery lasted 2 days of moderate use (social media, calls, light browsing). With heavy gaming or streaming, expect 10-12 hours. The 100W fast charging is a game-changer—it fills the battery from 0 to 100% in just 35 minutes. A 50W wireless charger is also included.

Verdict

The Honor Robot Phone is a solid choice for power users who want AI features and top-tier performance. Its display, battery life, and charging speed are standout, while the camera and design add polish. If you’re on a budget, the Rs. 129,999 price is steep, but it justifies the cost with flagship specs. For everyone else, the Honor 200 Pro (Rs. 99,999) might be a better fit.
