For Eid-ul-Adha, a goat or sheep counts as one share (one person's Qurbani), while a cow or camel has seven shares, so up to seven people can join in one animal. This calculator works out how many animals you need for a group, the total cost and the approximate cost per person.
Enter the animal type, how many people are doing Qurbani, and the cost per animal. It divides the group into the right number of animals and splits the cost. Prices vary a lot by animal, weight and city, so use your local rate.
