⛽ Fuel Cost Calculator

Estimate what your daily commute costs each month at today's petrol price.

🛠️ Free tool by the NayaPakistan team · Updated September 2026

This calculator estimates your monthly fuel bill from three numbers: how far you travel each day, your vehicle's average in kilometres per litre, and today's petrol price (pulled from the site's live rate). It is a quick way to see the real running cost of a commute or to compare two cars or routes.

The maths is straightforward: daily distance ÷ mileage gives litres per day, multiplied by 30 days and the per-litre price. Improving your average — smoother driving, correct tyre pressure, less idling — or shortening the route both show up immediately in the monthly figure.

Frequently asked questions

How do I calculate monthly fuel cost?

Divide your daily distance by your vehicle's km-per-litre to get litres per day, multiply by 30 days, then by the petrol price per litre. This tool does it using today's rate.

What is a good fuel average (mileage)?

It depends on the vehicle — small cars often manage 12–18 km/l in the city, motorbikes much more, and large SUVs less. Enter your own figure for an accurate estimate.

How can I reduce my fuel cost?

Drive smoothly, keep tyres correctly inflated, avoid unnecessary idling and heavy loads, service the engine on time, and combine trips. Even a small rise in km/l lowers the monthly bill.

Does it use the current petrol price?

Yes. It uses the latest petrol price from the site's rates. For the full breakdown and history, see the Fuel Prices page.
